Momentario privacy

This page explains what data Momentario handles (this site and the tool at /app/). Momentario is operated by Alberto Curcio Linares, an independent developer in Costa Rica, under the name Facilon. Contact: support@esfacilon.com.

Your chat never leaves your device

When you pick a chat export, the file is opened and processed only inside your browser, on your device. The Wrapped, the preview and the book are all created right there. We don’t upload your chat, your photos or anyone’s names to any server, and we never see them.

Purchases

When you buy, your browser creates a random purchase code that is passed to Creem (our reseller) and comes back to us once the payment is confirmed. On our server (Cloudflare Workers KV) we store that code, the order number, the product, the amount and whether it was a test order. To tie a purchase to one book, we also store a fingerprint of the chat file: a SHA-256 code computed on your device, from which no message or name can be recovered. Your email, name and payment details are handled by Creem under its privacy policy. The purchase code is also saved in your browser (local storage) so you can download your book again.

Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It uses no cookies and only shows us anonymous totals (for example, how many times a page was viewed). It doesn’t collect personal data or track you across sites, and it never sees your chat.

Notify list

If you leave your email to be notified, we store your email address, the page language and the date. Nothing else. We use it only to email you about Momentario, rarely; we never sell or share it. It’s stored on Cloudflare (Workers KV), our hosting provider. To prevent abuse, Cloudflare temporarily limits submissions per connection; we don’t store your IP. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Cookies

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. We use two functional cookies: mo_lang (the language you chose) and mo_paylang (the language you opened checkout in, so you come back to that page after paying; it lasts 2 days).
