FAQ
Can anyone else read my chat?
No. Momentario runs entirely in your browser, so your conversation stays on your device. We don’t upload it to a server and we don’t store it.
How do I export a chat on iPhone?
Open the chat in WhatsApp, tap the contact or group name at the top, scroll down and tap Export Chat. Choose Attach Media (with photos) or Without Media, and save it to Files. Then open Momentario and pick that file.
How do I export a chat on Android?
Open the chat in WhatsApp, tap the three dots ⋮ at the top right, then More → Export chat. Choose with or without media and save it on your phone. Then open Momentario and pick that file.
Can I print it at a copy shop?
Yes. You get an A5 PDF that’s ready to print, so you can take it to any copy shop or print shop you like. We don’t print or ship books ourselves.
Will my photos be included?
Yes, if you export the chat with media. Photos show up in the book next to the messages from that day.
Does it work with group chats?
It does. It works for couples, families, and friend groups. In a group, your Wrapped shows who writes the most.
How much does it cost?
The Wrapped and the preview are free. The full book is US$8.99, a one-time payment per book, no subscription.
What if I’m not happy with it?
You can preview the first pages of your book for free before you pay, so you’ll know exactly what you’re getting. If your book doesn’t generate properly or the file fails, write to us and we’ll help you sort it out.
